Salvation Army Northern Div. Prepares for Flood Relief in MN & ND; Initial Team Deployed in Fargo

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – In anticipation of rising floodwaters, sandbagging operations are officially underway in the Fargo/Moorhead area, and The Salvation Army Northern Division announced it deployed a feeding team to supply snacks and hydration to staff and volunteers involved in the sandbagging effort there. “Assisting during times of disaster is one of the missions of The Salvation Army, and we’ve been preparing for a significant flood season,” said Major Michele Heaver, Disaster Services Secretary for The Salvation Army Northern Division, which includes Minnesota and North Dakota. “The Fargo area is the first of our flood response deployments this year.”psum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type simen book.
